Online Registration for Residents

 of the Brighton School District

Welcome to our Online Registration Portal.  This portal is for Brighton School District residents only, grades K - 12, who have never registered a child in the district before.* 

Before You Begin:

1) Have you checked our Brighton Street Directory to ensure you are registering in the correct school district?

2) Do you have copies of your child's proof of age and proof of residence ready to upload to the system? Visit our website for Acceptable Forms of Documentation.

Ready? Great!

1) Click the Continue button in the left sidebar.  You will be walked through the online process.  By registering online, you will eliminate the need to complete our Brighton Central School District (BCSD) paper-based registration form. You will know you have completed the registration when you have hit the "Saved" button and have the option of printing out your registration document.

2) Make sure to complete Page 5 - Additional Info by clicking on the box for "Registration Packet." This is where you tell us what school year, grade, and building, you are registering for, even if you are registering to attend a private/parochial school. This is also where you'll want to upload your proof documents.

3) Please make sure to complete the Residency Statement (link below), save it to your computer, and email it to the District Registrar at registration@bcsd.org.

Once your online registration is complete and processed by our office, you will be contacted by our District Registrar, either to confirm your child is registered or to request more documentation.

Please note: If you are a BCSD parent already using SchoolTool, your parent login password will not work in this system, as it is separate from the Parent Portal.

*If you have children already registered in the district, and need to register another child, please download the District Registration Form here and return the completed form to the District Registrar.
